As a content marketing consultant, I specialise in helping small businesses maximise the benefits of SEO and blogging. I help my clients create shareable content that can be updated and repurposed time and time again, without them having to constantly create new content from scratch.
Originally from the edge of West London, I now live in West Berkshire. I love riding, watching equestrian sports and spending time outdoors.

Purple Horse Marketing | Established 2020
I originally launched Purple Horse Marketing - then under a different name - in 2020. On completing, university and faced with the pandemic, I decided to jump straight into self-employment. Back then, I specialised in social media marketing for equestrian businesses.
Over time, my interest in search engine optimisation grew, and eventually I stopped offering social media management in favour of SEO.
In 2021, I launched Purple Horse Planners. My e-commerce business now offers a range of planners, journals and gifts for horse riders, owners and small businesses. My flagship products include the No Horse? No Problem! Riding Lesson Journal for riding school clients, and my annual Business Planner for small business owners.
In 2023, I launched my very first free online course. Purple Horse Marketing Academy is slowly growing as I create more courses for small business owners who want to learn how to use SEO and blog content marketing as part of their small business marketing strategy.
Now, in 2024, all three businesses have come together under the Purple Horse umbrella and I am expanding out of the equestrian sector to help small business owners across the UK. I no longer offer fully-managed don-for-you services as I've swapped these for flexible, affordable content marketing consultancy, coaching and support offers.
What Does an SEO / Content Marketing Consultant Do?
SEO (search engine optimisation) is what helps your website show up in Google Search results when people search for relevant keywords, phrases, or information online. It is a way of driving free traffic to your website, generating visibility, credibility, leads and sales for your small business.
The biggest factor in getting your website discovered in the search engines is content. The content (primarily text) on your website (including your Home page, product / services pages and blog articles) plays a huge part in making your website more visible to your target audience when they are at all stages of the buyer journey.

You don't need to be extroverted, techy or know anything about SEO or blogging, but you do need to be open-minded, willing to put the effort in and prepared to change the way you see and use your website.
You do need a working, live website that has a blog facility in order to benefit from my services. If you haven't yet got a website or your business is very new, then you are welcome to take advantage of my online courses and digital downloads in preparation for launching your website. If you are unsure whether your website has a blog facility, or how to upload blogs to your website, please consult your website developer or the help section for your CMS.
